About Me
My name is Danny Lum. I have been working with Singapore’s national athletes for more than a decade. During this period of time, I have worked with athletes who competed in athletics, badminton, bowling, cycling, diving, gymnastics, judo, kayaking, marathon, swimming, table tennis, wakeboarding and wrestling. I completed my Phd in sports science at Nanyang Technological University in 2021, and is an accreditted strength and conditioning coach by both National Strength and Conditioning Association and Australian Strength and Conditioning Association.
Apart from being a practitioner, I am also appointed honorary adjunct lecturer by La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. My research studies on isometric training and post-activation performance enhancement are well received by the international committee in the field of strength and conditioning. Many of which have been published in peer reviewed sports science journals and presented in international sports science conferences.
I created D. Performance Concept so that I can use this platform to extend my support to those who are not supported by the national sports carding system, and overseas athletes who would like to engage my service. I hope to use my experience in training our elite athletes, and knowledge in the science of strength and conditioning to help every athlete to be at the top of their game.
My vision is to help athletes of all ages, from all sports and competitive levels to reach their highest potential so that the athletes can have a more fulfilling sporting journey.
